2. The Stitching: The "5-Stitch" Rule

3. Hardware: Weight and Engraving
Cheap bags use cheap metal. Luxury bags use solid brass or high-quality plated hardware.
- Weight: Authentic hardware should feel heavy and cold to the touch. Fake hardware is often lightweight, hollow, and feels like plastic.
- Engraving: Check the "Louis Vuitton" engraving on snaps, rivets, and zipper pulls. The lettering should be crisp, deep, and perfectly legible. Fakes often have shallow, blurry, or messy engravings.
- Zippers: Test the glide. A real Louis Vuitton zipper should move smoothly without catching or feeling "gritty."
4. The Heat Stamp: It’s All in the "O"
